These delicious little balls of delight are an ideal healthy snack that will certainly give you an energy boost when sweetness cravings strike!
Made entirely from natural ingredients (and no added sugar) they are a saintly, guilt free, snack. Packed with protein these are perfect for gym bunnies, body builders and those who are after a little something to nibble on in-between meals.
Makes 8 big balls

20g chia seeds
20g porridge oats
100g peanuts (roasted)
200g Dried dates
100g Dried Cranberries
100ml boiling water
5g (t-spoon) good cocoa powder
Finely chop your dates and cranberries and then add to boiling water and leave to soak for a minute or two.
Blend your oats and chia seeds to a fine powder & put in a big mixing bowl with the cocoa powder
Blend your nuts down to as smooth as you can, leaving a few chunky bits if you like
Once the fruit has soaked up all the water, blend it down to a paste
Mix together the nuts, the dry ingredients and the fruit paste
Form into big balls (or small ones if that’s what you prefer)
Lay on a tray lined with baking paper until firm.
Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks, that is if they last that long!
